A player skipping a stone across the water — every bounce gives +1 Skill

+1 Stone Skipping is a throwing-distance simulator by Meow Labs: you hurl a stone across the water, every bounce adds +1 Skill, and a stronger throw reaches farther zones that pay more Wins. Released September 5, 2026, it already passed 5 million visits with a simple loop that rewards short, frequent sessions. Here is how to make your first hour count.

Your first five minutes

Spawn on the grass bank, aim across the water and throw. That first wobbly skip is the whole game in miniature — distance in, rewards out:

  1. Throw and watch the bounces. Each bounce is +1 Skill, and Skill decides how hard future throws fly.
  2. Follow the throw marker. Your stone lands in numbered zones stretching to the horizon — farther zones pay more Wins.
  3. Train between throws. The training action raises your level, which pushes throws farther even without better gear.

Ten serverside players share each world, but everyone’s progression is personal — you are only racing your own longest throw.

Redeem the free codes immediately

Before grinding anything, open the Shop (left-side button), scroll to the bottom and redeem every active code: SECRET, 10KCCU, 5KCCU, WORLD4 and WELCOME were all working on October 2, 2026. They grant Potions, Wins, Skill and Eggs — a fresh-save head start that would otherwise take an hour of throwing. The full list with redemption steps lives on our codes page.

What to spend your first Wins on

Your first Wins buy progression, and the order matters more than the amount:

  1. A better stone. The starter rock is the weakest thrower in the game — the official trailer shows the ladder running from a plain gray stone to stranger objects like a flaming rock and even a UFO disc (see the stones guide).
  2. An Egg. Eggs hatch pets that boost your stats permanently; even a Common Egg pet moves early numbers (see pets and eggs).
  3. Training upgrades. Auto-training improvements keep your level climbing between active throws.

The first-hour checklist

  • ☑ Throw continuously — every bounce is Skill, and Skill is never wasted
  • ☑ Redeem all five active codes
  • ☑ Buy your first stone upgrade, then your first Egg
  • ☑ Push your landing zone one notch farther than your previous best
  • ☑ Rebirth once your progress stalls — it trades your current run for permanent strength (rebirth guide)

Is +1 Stone Skipping worth your time?

If you like number-go-up simulators, yes: the loop is legible within one throw, the game is genuinely free (codes supply the boosts), and updates have landed roughly every two to four weeks — the game is currently on World 4. The official description promises “even a DONUT” among throwable objects, and the community is large enough that new milestone codes appear regularly.
